Apple Pencil 1st generation.

Recently I purchased an iPad 8th generation, when I purchased it I had an idea of purchasing an Apple Pencil along with it. But I was a bit hesitant towards it, because of its price and I was looking for alternatives but most of the alternatives either lacked palm rejection or tilt, if these features were available the price was almost close to the Apple Pencil. So I was waiting for a discount sale.

On 16th of October 2020 I found a discount on Amazon great Indian festival and finally purchased the Apple Pencil 1st generation. Rather than a matt finish it had a glossy white body and it was a bit heavy like a fountain pen. But as I started using it I slowly got used to it. Charging this pencil is a bit funny. You have to plug it to your iPad to charge it. But that's not the only way to change it, you are provided with a adapter to change it directly using the charger. You are also provided with an additional tip. The time taken by the pencil to change is less than 5 minutes.

I started to explore the pencil. Initially I started with rough drawings and colourings then I started taking notes with the apple pencil. With iOS 14 you can even use your apple pencil for replying to texts in  any app. It converts your hand written words into computer texts. The accuracy is not 100% in the beginning. But thanks to the neural engine which slowly adapts to your hard writing and the accuracy increases day by day. Palm rejection, pressure sensor and tilt function makes the apple pencil more comfortable to use. At the end of the day Apple Pencil is an wonderful add on to your iPad. But when if comes to the cost its a bit costlier. But fortunately I was able to find a good discount. Apple Pencil is definitely a useful device for artists and photographers for editing, and this entire article was written with my new Apple pencil.
